Sweet jumping jesus. I was just playing on Iago, as I am wont to do, and we're playing assault. I'm on T. This other guy is on CT. A couple other people were there, 2 on 2. For some reason, CT's rushed the front door basically every round, and this one guy started calling me all sorts of names, starting with camper, moving onto "jew", and finally to "gay" because I shot him every time he came in.

Now, is it just me, or do you think maybe you should change tactics if you're being shot every round in the same place, or is it more effective to call your enemy names and repeat the same moves, over and over?

Also, maybe it's just me, but assault is a hostage map. Arn't the terrorists supposed to sit in the building guarding the hostages? Isn't that the whole point of a situation like that?

Arg....

Oh, and sorry about the Canada jokes. I think that pissed off Storm. And sorry to what's-his-name about the grammar thing. Bad grammar annoys me, I hope people point out any mistakes I make.

I am a big sally. I camp my ass off. I love shootin the opposing team in the back of head. Nothin wrong with that! Hell, you should be proud that you were able to pull off some kills, regardless if you camped or not. And someone is mad at you for using common sense and tactics that let you survive? Fuck that. I can understand if you were hiding in an alley with a knife out for 4 minutes straight, but I you weren't.. (I'm assuming) :mrgreen:
And camping as a t is perfectly fine on a cs map. Camping as a ct is perfectly fine on a de map. Protecting the mission objectives such as a bomb site, or hosties, is what makes counter-strike a counter-terrorism simulation, and not a deathmatch game. If you have an objective given to you, then you complete the damn objective. Not wander off and go hunting for the opposing team. If you want to mindlessly kill enemies, then stop playing counter-strike, and get yourself Diablo2.

I just want to mention that if someone on the opposing team is upset at you..... then you must be doing something right. I never understand opponents who complain about the way I play the game. They expect me to play the way they want me to play. I DON'T THINK SO. I'm gonna play the way my opponent least expects it, that's how you get kills without getting killed.

Your best bet is to remain silent, don't egg them on and let us deal with it. If someone is really being a dickhead, then we'll give 'em the boot.
